I Graduated From College! Now What....?

I finally finished work on my senior show projects, “The Elehphant’s Pot” and “Fully Commit or Eat Shit“. You can check them out on my Animation and Recent tab. You can also check out the exhibition itself at:

That being said, what am I up to now?

I’m currently looking for work of course! I’d love to get a job in animation, but I’m open to all kinds of artistic endeavors. I’m uploading videos regularly to my YouTube channel, streaming on Twitch, and just having a good time dreaming up my next personal animation project. If you would like to hire me for a project (animation, environment design, character design, video editing) feel free to send me an email at mirandapaytonsmith@gmail.com

I Painted Ducks on my Dr. Martens

Yesterday I finished painting these shoes for fun, it was the first time in three years that I have painted on canvas shoes. I went to DSW to spend some Christmas money and ended up buying these Dr. Martens for $80 in the style Rozarya. I didn’t even know Dr. Martens made canvas shoes, but I was so excited when I tried these on! It was quite a process to design and paint, and I have recorded this process. I’m going to make a video on my YouTube channel about how I made these shoes, so please check it out if you can! I will provide a link for it here when it comes out.

I have painted on shoes before, and I’m going to create a new section on my website where you can see my other shoe projects. My older shoes are painted with licensed characters, however, and are ONLY examples of what I can do at a technical level. They are not for sale and I only have them for personal use or as gifts for friends.

I think it would be very cool if I could turn this process into a business, let me know what you think about these shoes!

Cotton Corn Wallpapers!

I created 4 wallpapers, feel free to use them on your phone as such! Cotton Corn is a flying cotton candy unicorn, and you can see them posing in “Succumb to Sweetness” by clicking the Larger Illustrations tab. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
